Content Protection for Creators

For YouTubers, streamers, educators, and subscription creators: find reposts and leaks, prove they're yours, and get them taken down

The more your work is worth, the faster it gets copied. Clips get reuploaded for views, paid posts and courses get shared on leak sites, and your thumbnails turn up on accounts you've never heard of. Every copy is income or attention you don't get.

Proprias does the watching and the paperwork. Daily scans find your content across the public web, evidence is saved automatically, and takedowns are prepared for you to send, or sent for you.

What Proprias catches

Leaked paid content

Subscriber posts, memberships, and courses shared on forums, leak sites, and Reddit. DMCA notices go to the site, its host, and Google.

Reuploaded clips

Your videos and clips reposted on TikTok, Instagram, and X. Each platform takes copyright reports through its own form.

Stolen photos and thumbnails

Your images reused on other accounts, sites, and ads. Visual matching finds them on publicly searchable pages.

Accounts posing as you

Fake profiles using your name or face to scam your audience. That's impersonation, not copyright, and has its own route.

Likeness protection

How it works

Add what you make

Upload reference files for the content you want watched: paid posts, course and membership material, photos, thumbnails, and stills from your videos. Add your channel names and handles too.

Find reposts and leaks

Daily scans cover Google, image results, X, Reddit, forums and leak sites, Instagram, TikTok, and the open web, so reposted clips and leaked paid content turn up in your review queue.

Keep the evidence

Each confirmed match is saved with its URL, screenshots, timestamps, and a hash of your original, so you can prove it's yours and track repeat uploaders.

Take it down

Matches become ready-to-file DMCA notices. On Detect you send them; on Defend we send them as your authorized agent and follow up for 30 days; on VIP our team handles it, including hard platforms like Telegram.

Frequently asked questions

How do I stop people reuploading my videos?

Report each reupload through the platform's copyright form; TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube all have one. Proprias finds reuploads on publicly searchable pages across Google, X, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and the open web and prepares the notices. It doesn't scan inside YouTube directly today, so if your channel is in the YouTube Partner Program, use YouTube's own Copyright Match Tool alongside it.

My paid content or course was leaked. What should I do?

Save the URLs and screenshots, then send DMCA notices to the sites hosting it and ask Google to remove the pages from search results, which cuts off most of the traffic. Leaks tend to resurface, so keep watching after the first takedown. Proprias scans forums, leak sites, and Reddit daily and re-checks notices for 30 days on Defend and VIP.

Can Proprias remove content from Telegram or Discord?

VIP pursues takedowns on hard platforms, including Telegram, and our platform guides cover how to report on Telegram and Discord yourself. Private channels and servers can't be searched or moderated by any outside service, so Proprias can only act on content it can reach.

Is a DMCA takedown the same as a YouTube copyright strike?

Related but not the same. A DMCA takedown is the legal notice you send. When YouTube removes a video because of a valid copyright removal request, it applies a copyright strike to the uploader's channel. Other platforms have their own repeat-infringer rules.

Do I have to give Proprias my channel or account login?

No. Proprias monitors public surfaces only and never needs your platform logins, private messages, or earnings data.

Legal disclaimer

Proprias provides monitoring, evidence, and takedown-notice tools, not legal advice. A DMCA notice includes a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you own the content or are authorized to act for the owner. Removal outcomes depend on each platform's policies, and a valid counter-notice can lead to content being restored.
